Design Development Plans

A special feature of having your garden designed by Flourish Garden Design is that at this stage we always offer the client two or three options of the way the garden design could progress. Research has shown us that many people who have their garden designed didn’t implement it because it still wasn’t quite how they wanted it.

At Flourish Garden Design we want to ensure that you are completely happy with the end design so give you a bigger choice at this stage than some other companies. We put all the information we have learned about you and your garden together and come up with some ideas for possible designs. These are called Design Development Plans or Concept Plans and we would normally do two or three for a client. They are a bit like mood boards in interior design and the idea is to convey the style and nature of the different gardens we think would suit your garden.

We will meet with you at this stage to discuss these plans and you can tell us which bits you like and which bits you don’t. Following this meeting we will have clear idea of how your garden will look, the style, the materials and the plants to be used. We are therefore able to draw up the Presentation Plan and the Planting Plan which are the final plans for your garden.
